Universal I/O module for connection to the CAN bus of EMC20, MS20 and IR20 devices.
The CAN I/O modules are installed close to the objects to be monitored and are directly connected to the device triggering the alarm via a CAN bus. This allows a very fast alarming far below 50ms. The device can control up to 8 small LEDs or 8 large signal lamps. The software can be customized, so each object can get a signaling or a group gets an optical signal assigned. Acknowledgement is done via a switch input or optionally with a Bluetooth module.
The acoustic alarm can be given via a buzzer, a sound siren or via loudspeakers. Several sounds can be stored on an SD card. The sound file is selected with a HEX switch and the volume is adjustable. The trigger time is set by software, for the sound output it is the length of the sound file.
Other devices that trigger an alarm can also be connected to the module via the switch input, for example via a relay output.
